Employer of Record · Tech & SaaS

We employ and sponsor your UAE tech team, so you can hire here without setting up a company first.

The part of UAE hiring that slows tech teams down

Your engineers are here to build product. The rest of it — residency visas, compliant contracts, WPS payroll, Emirates ID renewals — is a specialist job that never really stops. We take it on as the legal employer of your UAE staff. If you already have an entity, we lift that load off your people team. If you don't, you can still hire here without pausing to set one up.

The tech and SaaS roles we employ and sponsor

We don't recruit for you, you pick who to hire. We employ and sponsor them once you have, on the visa route that fits the role.

Software and AI engineers

Backend, frontend, ML and data engineers, often your first UAE hires. Free-zone or mainland work visa, Golden Visa if senior.

Engineering and product leads

Engineering managers, heads of product and technical leads relocating to anchor a regional team. Golden Visa eligible.

Growth and performance marketers

Performance, lifecycle and growth hires driving regional user acquisition. Standard work visa.

Sales and partnerships

Account executives, sales engineers and partnerships leads opening the GCC market. Standard work visa.

Founders, leadership and customer success

Founders and C-level setting up a UAE base, plus the support people serving customers in-timezone. Golden Visa or investor routes for founders.

Why technology companies choose EOR here

Speed, reach across the GCC, and none of the entity admin
A boardroom

Onboard in days, not quarters

The UAE is our home market, not a line on a global coverage map. A compliant offer usually lands in 5 to 10 working days.

Hire across the UAE, KSA and wider GCC

Build a regional team under one relationship. Start in Dubai, add Riyadh or Doha when your customers are there, with no new entity each time.

Convert risky contractors

Paying a Dubai-based developer as an offshore contractor carries real misclassification and visa risk. We move them onto compliant employment under our entity.

IP protection built in

We draft IP and confidentiality terms that hold up under UAE law, so the work your team produces belongs to you.

Where your engineers are employed changes everything

Free zone or mainland

Free-zone hiring, through Dubai Internet City, DMCC or Dubai South, is quicker and cheaper, but it ties the person to free-zone work. Mainland through MOHRE costs more, opens up the wider market, and counts fastest towards a Golden Visa later. First engineer? Free zone usually wins. Client-facing sales hire? Usually not.

The Golden Visa keeps people

For senior technical people, the Golden Visa is a real reason to stay. Engineers, AI and data specialists and engineering leaders earning AED 30,000 basic or above can qualify for ten-year residency, family included. We flag who's eligible at offer stage, so it's part of the pitch rather than a nice surprise two years in.

The mistake we fix most often

Paying a Dubai-based developer as an offshore contractor, or on a freelance permit that doesn't match how they actually work. Freelance permits are real, but they're for genuinely independent work, not a full-time engineer on your roadmap and in your repo. Get it wrong and you're carrying visa and IP risk that grows quietly.

What's shaping tech hiring in the UAE

The UAE has gone from hard to hire into, to actively pulling talent in.

Hub71 and Dubai Internet City now anchor a genuinely busy ecosystem, and the Golden Visa openly courts software and AI engineers. The person you want may already be thinking about a move, and how fast and how cleanly your offer lands is often what decides it.

Competition is rising with it. Waiting to set up your own entity costs more than it did a year ago, because good engineers don't wait. Hiring through an EOR lets you move now and settle the entity question later.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do we need a UAE entity to employ people through you?

No. We're the licensed employer and we sponsor the work visa and residency, so you can hire in the UAE with or without your own entity. Plenty of clients who do have one still use us, simply to keep visas, payroll and HR off their team's plate.

How fast can you onboard a new hire?

For a standard role with documents in order, a compliant offer usually lands in 5 to 10 working days, with the residency visa following shortly after.

Which tech roles do you employ and sponsor?

We regularly employ and sponsor:

  • Backend, frontend, ML and data engineers
  • Engineering managers, heads of product and technical leads
  • Growth, performance and lifecycle marketers
  • Account executives, sales engineers and partnerships leads
  • Customer success and support staff, and founders relocating to the UAE

You choose who to hire. We confirm the right visa category for each role and sponsor it end to end.

Can you convert our existing UAE contractor to an employee?

Yes, and it's usually urgent. Paying a UAE-resident developer as an offshore contractor carries real misclassification and visa risk. We move them onto a compliant contract under our entity, normally without a break in their work.

What do you need from us to start a hire?

To issue an offer we typically need:

  • The role title, basic salary and intended start date
  • The candidate's passport copy and photograph
  • An attested degree certificate where the visa category requires it
  • Any benefits or allowances you want included in the package
  • Confirmation of where the person will be based

Auxilium prepares the contract, the work permit and the residency application from there.

Will our IP be protected?

Yes. We draft IP assignment and confidentiality terms that hold up under UAE law, so the code and product work your team produces belongs to your company.

Free zone or mainland, which applies to our hire?

It depends on the role. Free-zone hiring through Dubai Internet City or DMCC is faster and cheaper, but ties the person to free-zone work. Mainland through MOHRE costs more, opens up the wider market, and counts fastest towards a Golden Visa. We'll tell you which fits before the offer goes out.

Can senior engineers qualify for the UAE Golden Visa?

Often, yes. Engineers, AI and data specialists and engineering leaders on AED 30,000 basic or above can qualify for ten-year self-sponsored residency, family included. We flag eligibility at offer stage. Thresholds should be confirmed at the time of hire.
